Privacy policy
How Lucerium collects, uses, protects, and responds to requests concerning personal data.

1. Responsible company
LUCERIUM, a company created and organized under the laws of the Republic of Colombia, is responsible for personal data processed through lucerium.co and direct communications relating to this website.
Data-protection inquiries, consultations, and claims may be sent to hello@lucerium.co with the subject “Data protection request.”
2. Scope and legal framework
This policy applies to personal data processed in connection with the website and related correspondence. It follows Colombia’s general data-protection regime, including Law 1581 of 2012 and the applicable provisions incorporated into Decree 1074 of 2015.
3. Data we may process
- Information you provide: name, email address, organization, professional details, and the contents of messages or materials you choose to send.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device characteristics, request timestamps, referring pages, diagnostic events, and security logs generated when the website is accessed.
- Interaction information: records necessary to respond to inquiries, manage a potential business relationship, or document authorization and privacy requests.
The website does not currently provide user accounts, payment processing, or an application-owned submission form. Please do not send sensitive personal data unless it is necessary and LUCERIUM has specifically requested it through an appropriate channel.
4. Purposes
- Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website and its infrastructure.
- Respond to inquiries and evaluate potential research, employment, partnership, supplier, or customer relationships.
- Protect LUCERIUM, its users, systems, intellectual property, and legal rights.
- Comply with Colombian law, valid authority requests, contractual duties, and recordkeeping requirements.
- Send communications requested or authorized by the recipient.
5. Authorization and lawful processing
Where required, LUCERIUM processes personal data with the holder’s prior, express, and informed authorization. Data may also be processed when authorization is not legally required, including to comply with a legal or judicial obligation. Processing follows the principles of legality, purpose, freedom, accuracy, transparency, restricted access, security, and confidentiality.
6. Service providers and international transmission
LUCERIUM may use providers for hosting, content delivery, cybersecurity, communications, and font delivery. These providers may receive limited technical data and may process it in Colombia or other jurisdictions under contractual and legal safeguards. LUCERIUM does not sell personal data.

7. Cookies and similar technologies
LUCERIUM does not use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising on this website. LUCERIUM uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the website, including page interactions, navigation patterns, device and browser information, and session diagnostics. Clarity may use cookies or similar technologies and may record session replays, subject to Microsoft’s own privacy practices and applicable controls.
Essential infrastructure and external resources may also process connection metadata or use technologies necessary to deliver and secure their services. LUCERIUM does not sell personal data. Information about Microsoft Clarity is available in Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.
8. Retention and security
Personal data is retained only for the period reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, a legitimate business need, dispute resolution, security, or a legal obligation. LUCERIUM applies proportionate administrative, technical, and organizational measures, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Your rights
Subject to Colombian law, holders may know, access, update, rectify, and request proof of authorization for their personal data; ask how it has been used; submit complaints to the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce; and request revocation of authorization or deletion when legally available.
A request should identify the holder, describe the data or right involved, provide a response address, and include supporting material where necessary. LUCERIUM may request reasonable identity verification before acting. Official guidance is available from Colombia’s Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.
10. Children and adolescents
The website is not directed to children or designed to collect their personal data. Any processing involving children or adolescents will prioritize their best interests and respect their fundamental rights and the requirements of Colombian law.
11. Changes to this policy
LUCERIUM may update this policy when its processing activities, technology, or legal obligations change. Material revisions will be identified by a new effective date and, when required, communicated through an appropriate channel.
